The Policy Leadership Track deepens participants’ understanding and engagement on environmental, education, and health policies that impact Black people and communities access to and leadership in nature. The cohort also trains and supports the entire 100+ leadership team.

Informing Policy

In addition to meetings with policy makers at the federal, state, and local levels, Outdoor Afro participants in collaboratives, councils, and task forces to inform policies that impact the connection of Black peoples to nature, as well as, the stewardship of our natural resources.
